Win Zootopia in Spanish and French! {Giveaway}

Zootopia is definitely one of my ALL TIME favorite animated movies! Not only is it great because my son loved it, but I genuinely loved it too! The attention to detail, the very clever world of Zootopia with all its different habitats really shows how much thought was put into this animated film. Every detail was thought of, really. One of my favorite scenes is watching the fast-speed train arrive and seeing how the train accommodates all types of animals! (The tiny doors for the smallest animals are so cute!)

In case you missed Zootopia in the theater, Zootopia is the story of an adorable overachieving bunny named Judy Hopps who is admirable from the beginning: she stands up to bullies and believes she can make the world a better place, leading her to become the first bunny cop in Zootopia, which is of course, a bit unconventional due to her size. As a female cop, Judy has to work hard to prove herself in the academy and her fellow officers don’t take her too seriously (Does that sound familiar?)

The other character in this film is Nick Wilde, a fox. As a predator, Nick is often subjected to stereotypes. other animals are scared of him, and some food establishments don’t even want to serve him. Animals are scared of foxes because the predators, as Judy’s family warns her before she leaves. Yet somehow, these two animals (the bunny cop and the scam artist fox) end up on an adventure together, and this bring up issues of race and gender stereotypes as well as discrimination.

Zootopia is sublime. The animation is lively, colorful and on point. The pop culture references and the way they’ve made the movie like real life is just out of this world. The DMV scene- GENIUS.

  1. I would love to be able to watch this with my roommate! We are both die-hard Disney fans, but have been unable to see it because of school. It would be awesome to watch it over the summer with her!

    1. Also, I am taking French next year and am hoping that it will help me with becoming better at listening to and understanding French!

  2. I would love to be entered to win. My family really enjoyed this movie. Thanks for the giveaway.
