5 Things to Do & See with kids in Argentina

With it being 4th of July and all, I am a little late with my #MKBWorldCup post… but here are 5 things to do and see in Argentina with kids, and a bonus for the parents, because I couldn’t write about Argentina and NOT mention MALBEC por supuesto…
1. Visit the Iguazu Falls: These beautiful waterfalls were declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Once you’re there you can also cross over to Brazil!
2. Check out Bosques de Palermo: (Buenos Aires) This huge park in the city is sometimes called the Central Park of Buenos Aires. This park is full of different attractions such as rose gardens, biking and running paths, lakes and boats for rental. The Galileo Gallilei Planetarium is located on the premises, sure to delight the astronomer in you! Also, Buenos Aires’ Japanese Garden.
3. Become mesmerized in Patagonia: There is so much to do, I could have written a whole post about Patagonia. There is wildlife to explore, horseback riding, whale watching, hiking, glacier exploring… I could go on and on. You can also visit Ushaia which is the southernmost city in the world, and of course, the Tierra del Fuego National Park
4. Explore Temaiken BioPark: Located 50 km (about 20 miles) from Buenos Aires, the Temaikèn Biopark allows families to explore wildlife, in their natural environments.
5. Become paleontologists: Argentina is home to a number of paleontological sites your kids will love: Visit the Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio or the Cañadon Escondido in Nuequén, in Patagonia, where you can look for dinosaur footprints.
and a bonus…. for the adults:
Drink Malbec in Mendoza. Mendoza is Latin America’s largest winemaking region. It is located 600 miles west of Buenos Aires and home to over 800 wineries. I don’t know about you… but this is definitely on my bucket list.
