The Best of France in Times Square #FrenchFridays

Did you catch The Best of France last weekend in Times Square? It was a lovely affair showcasing EVERYTHING France has to offer: food, fashion, travel and even the Moulin Rouge dancers!

It was really spectacular! I can’t wait until next year… if you didn’t make it this year, I highly recommend keeping this on your radar… it’s a great way to get a taste of France without leaving Manhattan. But warning… you will probably leave there wanting to book a trip to France!  Speaking of which, President Cheese was giving away a trip to France… I’m still crossing my fingers!  IMG_0434 Here are some highlights: The President Cheese Booth: Cheese and more cheese. and butter. Delicious and creamy butter. (by the way, did you know that you can buy President butter in supermarkets here in NYC?) nd the World’s biggest butter sculpture. It entered into the Guinness Book of World Records! Check out this picture (taken by up and coming photographer, my four-year-old). Eiffel-Tower-butter-Sculpture-Best-of-France Tanya Heath (shoe creator) has created possibly the best shoe ever.. interchangeable heels… it’s genius. Check out the video below:

I loved checking out the Try the World booth. This has been on my radar for a while now… it’s perfect for gourmands, foodies and even families raising multicultural kids or global citizens! You get a box of curated food and delicacies from around the world delivered to your door:

The Kids’ Corner featured a lot of activities for children (run by our friends from La Souris Verte after-school program) and information on French schools and programs in the NYC area.

I leave you with a little Moulin Rouge in Times Square … the first time Moulin Rouge EVER performed in NYC!
