My Favorite Quarantine Dessert Recipes

I have been doing a lot of baking during this pandemic. (We are almost at a year of the COVID-19 pandemic as of this writing). I wanted to share my favorite tried and true quarantine dessert recipes with you. I am only sharing links to the cookie and dessert recipes I’ve tried and love. I’ve made many more, but these are my (and my family’s!) quarantine dessert recipes.

  1. DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe If you’re ever stayed at a Hilton hotel, you know what I’m talking about… those warm and gooey cookies you get when you check-in! When the pandemic started, Hilton shared their recipe, which was so nice of them. It’s what inspired me to start baking, I knew I wanted to try baking this cookie for my family. This recipe is absolutely delicious!

  2. Almond Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies by Dessert for Two After a few weeks of making the chocolate chip cookie recipe, I wanted to try a recipe with almond flour. This recipe blew my mind. It is SO SO good. Kid approved, parent approved– it’s a 10! A+! I like undercooking it a bit so that the middle is chewy and gooey… YUM.almond flour chocolate chip cookies-quarantine dessert recipes

  3. Almond Flour Oatmeal cookies by Mama Gourmand.

This was a request my hubby had, he wanted me to try a variety with oatmeal. These are soft and chewy and delicious. You can also add raisins and make oatmeal raisin cookies instead of chocolate chip. almond flour oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

  4. World’s Best Fudgiest Brownie Recipe by Cafe Delites  “The best brownies I’ve ever had” is what my kiddo said…. and I take that as a compliment because, well he’s had a lot of brownies! These were jsut the right amount of fudgey.
  5. Pear Crisp by The Seasoned Mom One of the things that’s happened during quarantine is that we’ve been limiting the amount of trips to the supermarket. This means getting really creative with what we have at home, and repurposing. It also means big trips to Costco, which has meant purchasing items in bulk. When I saw the pears we bought were super ripe, I decided to look for a crisp recipe. I absolutely love crisps. I think they’re better than pies because who needs the calories of the crust? (not me, I assure you, haha!) I really loved this recipe, though I must admit, the calories saved from the crust went to the vanilla ice cream we had this crisp with!
