Rock Your Latina Pride with These Products You’ll Love

There’s something to be said about supporting your people. Your community, your gente. And, as I’ve said before, I really think Latinos need to come together and support one another, regardless of their nationalities. We need to support our businesses too. There are so many Latinas and Latinos doing GREAT things! There is so much creativity, joy, craftsmanship and talent in our community.

Chasing Camilla

Chasing Camilla’s founder, Melissa Rojas, created her company when she became a single mom. She says Camilla is her inspiration and strength.

She has a great line of tees, purses made in Mexico, and beautiful earrings like Mickey Mouse serape ears (OMG!– see image above!)

Botanika Beauty

I’ve been following Ada Rojas, the founder of Botanika Beauty for a few years now, back when she was Gypsy in the City. Ada inspires me with her confidence and her love for herself, for her curls, for her curves. It was only a matter of time before she blew all of us away with another amazing project: Botanika Beauty is her new haircare line.

Lil’ Libros

Lil’ Libros are a must if you’re raising bilingual kids! I love all their books and their games (Lotería and matching cards!) Lil’ Libros was created by Patty Rodriguez and Adriana Stein who, like many moms raising bilingual kids, saw the need for quality, beautiful board books for our little ones. They’ve been featured in publications like Forbes and the LATimes  and their books are available in Target. These books make the perfect baby gifts and are also great for your Spanish toddler playgroups!
