Diana’s Bio

Diana Limongi Gabriele is a blogger, social media influencer, nonprofit professional and activist.
 
Diana started her professional career in the education field, in France, where she spent some time teaching English as a foreign language to elementary and high school students in France.
Following that experience, she attended school in Brussels, getting her masters in Migration Studies at the University of Kent. Upon finishing her degree Diana returned to the United States, where she began her work in the nonprofit world, working in development.
 
Diana was propelled into the blogging world when she became a mother and decided to start sharing her experiences of raising a bilingual child. Today on her blog she covers issues related to raising bilingual kids, multicultural families, life as a working mother, culture and life in NYC.
 
Diana’s writing has been featured on Mamiverse, NBC Latino, Mom.me, Cosmopolitan, Hispana Global and other outlets.
 
She is committed to using her voice to help improve the conditions of families, women and children in the United States and abroad. She has used her social media advocacy skills to work with different organizations: with MomsRising/MamásConPoder to highlight issues that affect mothers and children: early education, food justice and bilingual education, among others. Diana also volunteered with the New York Paid Leave Coalition to help #MakeNYNext and make paid leave in New York a reality.  
 
In 2014 Diana was a UN Foundation Shot of Life Champion, advocating for vaccines for children around the world. Diana has also been recognized for her social media work as a Good Food Force blogger. She was also named a LATISM Top Bloguera in 2015 and 2016. In 2016 Diana’s blog was nominated for Hispanicize’s  TECLA awards as best parenting blog. In 2017, Diana was invited to be part of the Aspen Institute SEAD (Social, Emotional Academic Development) Parent Advisory Panel, a nationwide parent panel focused on social and emotional development in public schools. Always looking to give back to her community, Diana sits on the board of Serious Fun, an after school program dedicated to bringing affordable after school programming focused on the arts in title 1 schools in NYC.
 
Also passionate about the importance of celebrating multiculturalism and diversity, Diana is also part of the international group of bloggers: Multicultural Kid Blogs, a group dedicated to raising global citizens. In 2015, Diana and her husband co-founded DLG Media, a site that seeks to elevate the voices and stories of multicultural America.
 
Diana received her MPA in Nonprofit Management in 2015 from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
