Be Bold! Be Brave! Bilingual Book Celebrates Amazing Latinas

be bold be brave bilingual book review

I wanted to share the latest book in our bilingual library collection! It’s a beautifully illustrated and FULLY bilingual book titled “Be Brave! Be Bold! ¡Sé Audaz, Sé Valiente! 11 Latinas Who Made History / 11 Latinas que hicieron historia en los Estados Unidos.Be Bold! be Brave! Bilingual Book for Kids

What I love most about this book (in addition to it being 100 percent bilingual) is that it includes some of my favorite real life SHEROES/HEROES/GUERRERAS like the journalist Maria Hinojosa and award-winning actress Rita Moreno.

I can’t tell you how much I love 💕 the latest book in our library! “Be bold! Be brave! ¡Sé audaz, Sé valiente!” is a bilingual book that celebrates 11 amazing #Latina role models, including one of my absolute favorite journalists @maria_la_hinojosa and the amazing @theritamoreno . The book was written by @naibereynoso and was published by @contodopress and it belongs in every bilingual kid’s library! The images are colorful and beautiful. I don’t want to give any more spoilers to who the other amazing Latinas are, but I can tell you that they will surely inspire you and get your kids talking and curious and wanting to know more about them. I can also tell you that there were a few that I didn’t know, so even I learned from the book!

BUY “Be Brave! Be Bold! ¡Sé Audaz, Sé Valiente!

11 Latinas Who Made History / 11 Latinas que hicieron historia en los Estados Unidos.

The book is written by Naibe Reynoso, and is published by Con Todo Press, her publishing company. She has shared that there are other books in the works, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store!

You can buy the book on Amazon, or your favorite bookstore or (better yet) ask your independent bookstore to stock it!
