This is a good book to read with any child that has ever been teased about their name. Chrysanthemum thinks her name is absolutely perfect—until her first day of school when she gets made fun of. It’s a great book about teasing, self-esteem and acceptance.

The Way I Act highlights traits such as bravery and compassion and the drawings help kids imagine how they would act in different situations.

● The Golden Rule by Ilene Cooper

We could really use some examples of “good people everywhere” right? This book helps kids practice skills to practice compassion and gratitude. It incudes activity pages as well.

This book is all about teaching kids that KINDNESS IS COOL! This is a great book to show kids examples of good deeds like clearing the table after dinner, helping the elderly, this book shows that kids really can make a difference.
