Dr. Seuss in French!

Cat-in-the-Hat-French A great way to get kids excited abut French? Read them the books they love and know in English, but in French! Books by Dr. Seuss in French are perfect!

As parents, we are always looking for great new toys, books, tools, worksheets… anything that can make language learning fun, so our kids don’t think of it as a chore, but rather, as a game! If they are having fun while they learn, they won’t even think of it as “learning” or “work” they will think of it as a hobby, a game, something they look forward to. This is key to getting our kids to love languages and to want to learn a second language.

Your kids will surely be familiar with Dr. Seuss and will be excited because they know the story, but will also have fun learning it in another language! Earlier this week we celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday. He is an iconic figure in American kids’ literature. These translations of these classic stories keep the rhythmic  tones that are the essence of Dr. Seuss!
