Hello Flavored Seltzer! Polar Seltzer Review {and Giveaway}

Note: In order to facilitate this review, I was given a free sample of Polar Beverages Winter edition flavored seltzers. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.

Are you looking for alternatives to soda? Healthier options to calorie and sugar filled juices? Did you make a New Year’s Resolution to kick soda to the curb? If you answered yes to any of these, you need to check out Polar Seltzer

I discovered Polar Seltzer at my local supermarket. Since we do not buy juice and limit soda intake at home to special occasions, this new flavored seltzer that was on sale looked like something worth trying. First, there were only a couple of flavors but now i’m happy to say that my local supermarket carries A LOT of different flavors.

I thought that it was something worth sharing since I know many parents are looking for healthy alternatives to soda. It’s also a great thing to check out now if you’re thinking of leaving soda behind or adopting a healthier lifestyle!

I contacted Polar Beverages to learn more about the products. I learned that Polar Beverages is a family-owned company based out of Massachusetts, pretty cool right? They’ve been around since 1882, and the current CEO, Ralph Crowley, is the great-grandson of the original founders.

Here is what I love about Polar Seltzers:

  • All Polar Seltzers are 100% natural
  • Polar Seltzers are crafted with just 3 ingredients – premium-quality natural flavors and aromas, zillions of tiny bubbles and triple-filtered locally sourced water.
  • No sugars or sweeteners are needed to enhance drinkability.
  •  All the natural flavors are vegan and gluten-free.
  • All products are kosher.
  • No sodium is used to boost carbonation, or mask bitterness.

They have many flavors year-round and they also have a limited edition Winter Collection!

CRANBERRY & CLEMENTINE / Polar Seltzer will never stop over-sharing their love for the favorite local berry – cranberries. But this winter the lovely tart fruit is dressed up with the season’s best citrus for a sophisticated update on very classic New England combination.

BLACKBERRY BERGAMOT / Earthy richness of blackberries is gilded with the citrus notes of bergamot (you’ll recognize it from its role in Earl Grey tea). An opulent combination of aroma and flavor, this starry seltzer is perfectly paired with food or relaxation.

GINGER APPLE / Apples are everywhere in New England, and now they’ll be available with an effervescent modern attitude. The fieriness of ginger adds an exotic flare to the wholesome crisp taste of winter apples.

STRAWBERRY CHAMPAGNE / Folks are in the mood for food during fall and winter, and to that Polar Seltzer says “Let’s Toast!” Perfect for the entire family to enjoy, celebrate the upcoming “foodie” season with guiltless Strawberry Champagne Polar Seltzer.

TOASTED COCONUT CRÉME / Sort of like a trompe l’oeil dessert, this sparkling sensation conjures up the yumminess of rich coconut and cream without any of the naughtiness of calories, sodium or sweeteners. And yes, like all Polar Seltzer, Toasted Coconut Créme is 100% natural and calorie-free.

Polar Beverages also make other products: Birch Beer, Golden Ginger Ale and Cane-Sugar Sodas.

  1. I grew up with Polar Seltzer but moved far away and miss it so much. I’d love to try the Toasted Coconut Creme – that sounds so good.

  2. I would love to try the Strawberry Champagne because it sounds exciting and the Ginger Apple because I love apples.
