5 Yummy Treats from Argentina! #HHM15

I love food.  Argentina is known to have delicious wine (Personally, I love Argentian Malbec.) They also have some pretty delicious food. Here are 5 treats from Argentina that are melt-in-your-mouth delicious:

1. Choripán. Basically an Argentine hot dog.  In baguette bread. YUMMY.

2. Asado:  Argentina has some fine meat, and if you’re a meat lover, this is right up your alley! Asado is the Argentine BBQ… but there’s a specific way to make it… check this post from my friend at Latin Kitchen for step by step instructions on how to make your asado.

3. Alfajores. Two yummy cookies with dulce de leche filling. Try this recipe by Rebecca Caro, blogger at From Argentina with Love.

4 .Chimichurri sauce (to go with your asado!) If you haven’t ever had chimichurri, you’ve been missing out! This sauce is SO SO good. Try this yummy recipe  by food blogger Uchi Davidzon (Who is from Argentina!) over at Latin Food Lovers.

5. Submarino: The hot chocolate of Argentina. If you have little kids, you have to try this at home! Basically,  you dunk dark chocolate into warm milk (it has to be warm enough so the chocolate melts.) So fun, kids will surely love to dunk, watch chocolate melt, stir and then drink! As Rebecca explains in her post, it has to be DARK chocolate!

Let’s chat! What other amazing foods does Argentina have? Have you ever had any of these foods?

Don’t forget to watch the World Cup! Congrats to Argentina on their win today!
