Must-Read Book: Reach! By Lorraine C. Ladish

I recently finished reading Reach! From single mom on welfare to digital entrepreneur by Lorraine C. Ladish. It’s definitely a must-read book for everyone! It will make you cry, make you think and make you realize things aren’t as bad as them seem– it will make you realize there IS hope when you thought there was no hope left.

I had heard bits and pieces of Lorraine’s story at different conferences (namely as a StoryTeller at the first We All Grow Summit last year). I have always been inspired by her journey (both professional and personal), by her resilience and by her strength.  In this book Lorraine shares her journey in more detail, explaining how she went from being a single mom who almost gets evicted to rebranding herself and creating a successful media company (Viva Fifty!).

Lorraine shares how she manages to keep hope alive when everything seems like it is falling apart, and how she hustles her way to surviving with her two young daughters. She talks about how she successfully reinvents herself after the recession of 2008 leaves her unemployed and scraping to get by.

If you’ve ever felt like nothing is going right, that you are losing hope– reading Lorraine’s story will make you realize that there is something that is going right, and that there is hope.

Lorraine’s words are uplifting, inspiring and you will certainly feel moved and even learn some tips that will help you along this journey called life.

Reach! is available in paperback (currently $5.99) and on Kindle. ($.099!). Lorraine is also releasing a version in Spanish soon!
