Previously on my blog I’ve shared the story of how Beep Beep came to be, and today I’m thrilled to share his new adventure! Pauline Lévêque has done it again and Beep Beep’s latest adventure is perfect for all NYC kids!
The fourth installment in the Beep Beep Books collection bring Beep Beep, the adventurous little red car and his trusted friend Chocolate the Cat to NYC. Together they explore all corners of Manhattan, exploring the iconic places like the Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park, and of course Lady Liberty, a gift from France to the US.
The book is bilingual (the text is in French and English) but you don’t need to be bilingual to love it. It’s especially a great book for NYC kids. My son loved it and when recognized the places in the story he got so excited! “Mama, we’ve been there!” or “Look, I’ve been to the Empire State Building!”
“I love Beep Beep. Where is going to go now?” My son thinks he should go to Mexico… and maybe Ecuador. He also wants to go see the Eiffel Tower now (Before coming to NYC Beep Beep and Chocolate were in Paris).
I love this collection because it definitely sparks my son’s imagination and desire to see different places! We can’t wait to see where Beep Beep goes to next!
I’m super excited because I get to give one lucky reader a signed copy of Beep Beep in New York!
Even though it’s a bilingual book, you don’t need to be a French speaker to enjoy it!
If you have a NYC kid, Beep Beep in NY should definitely be part of your collection
