Highlights of 2015

2015 has certainly been an eventful year for me professionally and personally! This year I focused on adding a lot more printables for my readers and sharing a lot about my son’s language journey. A lot of great things happened too! Here are some highlights:

 

People in 171 countries visited my blog, and I’m so thrilled!

Talking Diversity on Television on WPIX11 Morning News  This was my first live television spot!

 

I met Sofia Vergara! She’s sooo nice!

I traveled across country to the first ever We All Grow Summit by Latina Bloggers Connect!

I also attended Hispanicize 15 in Miami and met these cool peeps, networked and learned a lot!

I was named a Top Digital Influencer by LATISM!

I was selected to attend Disney’s Social Media Moms Celebration in NYC!

I got my MPA!!! Finally! after four years, I have my Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Policy from The NYU Wagner School of Public Service.

I detoxed and lost 10 lbs! My last year of graduate school was really hard and I didn’t exercise and certainly ate my stress away. So I decided to work with a naturopath and I love the results!

I was published in Cosmopolitan.com! : It took Becoming a Mom for Me To Understand My Mom

I met François Grosjean, the bilingualism guru!

I crossed a few things off my Ecuador Bucket list and traveled to Quito and Cuenca with a group of fabulous bloggers! (Hoping to cross more off this list in 2016!)

2015 has been a turbulent year all over the world and 2016 is going to be a pivotal year in the history of the United States as we gear up for an important election! Bring it 2016! I’m ready!
